Lynden Hodges

After his honorable discharge from his service as a Military Police Officer for the United States Army Military Police Corps in 1980, Mr. Hodges embarked on a journey as a Law Enforcement Officer that spanned 42 years before his retirement in 2022. He has served as a Police Officer, Corporal, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Commander of Criminal Investigations, and Marshal in New Mexico and Colorado.
Mr. Hodges graduated from the FBI National Academy (216th Session) at Quantico Virginia in 2024. He also graduated from the Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command in 2003 (SPSC) where he received the Franklin J. Kremel Leadership Award for exemplary leadership and team development.
While serving with the Las Cruces N.M. Police department (LCPD), he was the Academy Coordinator for the 18th and 21st Police Academy where he was charged with the day-to-day operation of the academy. As a certified police instructor, he was often called on to teach a wide range of subjects.
Also while at LCPD, He developed and implemented the field training program, Developed and implemented an assessment center style for promotions and assignments to specialty units, and was a Grantsmanship Institute-trained grant writer where he pulled in over 6 million dollars over several different grants.
Mr. Hodges was also instrumental in developing an Office Involved Incident Task Force which is a multi-jurisdictional task force of senior investigators that is called on to investigate officer-involved incidents such as shootings and any other incidents involving police officers in matters that are or may be criminal. The members were from LCPD, the NM State Police, the Dona Ana County Sheriff's Office, the New Mexico State University Police Department, and the Office of the District Attorney.
Mr. Hodges specializes in building effective and cohesive teams and offers his years of expertise to clients by way of executive police recruiting services, promotional and special unit selections and staff training and development program creation and delivery.
